Thief (1981) - 7.5/10
An early Michael Mann film starring James Caan about a jewel thief doing a heist. It's quite a nice watch from both a story and filmatic POV. I primarily watched it due to the...
Anyone watched this? I spotted it on Netflix, started watching it and managed about 2 minutes before turning it off. It's produced by the Asylum who seem to make it their life mission to release rip...
Looks like it might be fun. Nice to see Craig Charles too!

I bought it, then hardly played it
I hope they make something good of this...
Flashpoint (1984) - 6/10
A simple mystery action drama set on the border. The only reason I watched it was for the Tangerine Dream soundtrack :)
Of interest is it featured Kurtwood Smith and...
Well, that's series 3 done... Another year to wait now :(

Maybe I'll try and catch it then...

Couple of slow episodes, but generally good. Series 2 has finished filming and is due for release next year. Hopefully it can keep up a good storyline...
Watched half of season 3. Still bloody great.
Rumour has it, it's the most watched thing on Amazon? Really? And also Amazon have ordered another three series after this one.
So, a well made, but generally fairly mediocre watch. Bill Nighy seems out of place in it IMHO. Can't help that Charles Dance - who also pops up in the film - could have played the part better?
They should have gone down Chile's route and put the advert in the film...

Well that was jolly good. I do hope they do a second series of some sort.
