Very sad news...
George passed away over the weekend (on Sunday July 16th) in his sleep after a short battle with cancer.

This was a tough one for me. 1st I loved George, he was the first filmmaker to scare the hell out of me with his zombie films. 2nd he and Zack and Dan inspired me to make my own films. 3rd, he died on my birthday, so every year as I got older I also mourn George's death.
