- Biography:
- I actually started on the HPotD forums back in 2001, but when the old forums got migrated my account was somehow reset.
I've loved zombie movies since the early 1980's. My first experience was watching "Night of the Living Dead" on television late at night. A few years later, my friends and I watched "Dawn of the Dead" on VHS tape. We ended up watching it so many times that the tape literally wore down and lost control track.
Over the years, my love of zombies has remained consistent. I pride myself in having attended the 25th anniversary celebration of Dawn of the Dead at the Pittsburgh Comicon, where I met many of my heroes, including Ken Foree, David Emge, and Greg Nicotero. I also went on the now-famous Mall Tour, which was awesome. I can be seen in the DVD extras on the deluxe Dawn of the Dead DVD set.
The epitome of happiness came about a year later when I met and interviewed George A. Romero for a cable TV program that I produced. It was awesome and he is a truly cool person.
