I know they talk about it on the making of the Dawn DVD, I have to watch it, maybe there is a reason, maybe it was an experiment and they didn't know it would look like that on film. Tom Savini is awesome and not just some hack. So I don't have a answer as to why they are blue, maybe after I watch my DVD I will have one
