True, I havent seen it yet but you gave all the points that its following closer to Romero's movies. Both the movies are rip off's and im sure Contagium has very shitty FX, production, and whatnot.....but Im betting I would still enjoy it more because its more like an actual dead film. Cant say for sure because I havent seen it but its got to be more of an homage to Romero than the Dawn remake was. Why cant people take the universe thats already set out and make something original within said universe? Just like Shaun of the Dead. I believe Shaun and Night90 are the only two dead films I enjoy outside of Romero's simply because they follow the same rules that somehow make it easier to "believe"(or just make it a good film in general). But anyway...thats my point as to why I THINK I would like Contagium alittle more than Dawn04.
