Oh, I forgot, it didn't.

Do you think 10, 20, 27 years later people will discuss, worship DOTOD '04? I guess I wasn't expecting much, and that's what I got. The director's unrated cut was actually pretty entertaining IMO, but seriously, what is the major appeal of the remake? Help me here...what is it about the remake that is so, dunno, scary, haunting, unforgetable or...special?
