Leaving the mall when they did was a mistake -- but it was forced by their inability to work together. In reality it would probably be the case that even the most well-protected stronghold would be vulnerable to the stupidity of the survivors. Moving was probably the right idea, but they should have done it in a more controlled fashion.
Out in the styxx, a stronghold breach might result in a dozen zeds inside, compared with hundreds or thousands in the city. |
