There is a con coming up near Fort Lauderdale called Screamfest. I'd suggest talking to whomever organizes that con, and see what they could get done. Also, at one time, Horrorfind had planned on doing a con in FL, but pulled out for unknown reasons. Maybe you otta shoot Horrormaster Mike at http://www.horrorfindweekend.com an email, and see what he has to say. In the meantime, I'd start collecting frequent flyer miles for regular trips to the 'burgh, and outlying areas (BTW- I live in the midwest, and still have to drive 8 hours minimum to a decent con, so don't feel bad).
